			<title><![CDATA[ KT66 heater current ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Is anyone aware of a current manufactured KT66 that only draws 900 mA of heater current, like the original Mullards?  I have some QUAD amps in that need new
KT66s but all the current manufactured ones I look at draw 1.3 - 1.6 A of heater current and the owner is worried that the extra current draw will burn up his
PT.  The ones I have looked at are Gold Lion, Shuguang, and Saratov which all draw too much heater current.  I couldn&#39;t find the heater current data for
JJs, and the owner... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I don&#39;t know when my AVO VCM Mk2 was last calibrated and I suspect it is supplying erroneous results, so I thought I should check it now.  I have the
manual and it has instructions for calibration, but they are not very precise.  As a non-electronic person, I don&#39;t want to damage either the tester or
myself.  If anyone here has experience of calibrating this type of tester, I would be grateful for some assistance. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I purchased one of the new tubes being made at the old Mullard factory in England the .TechTube™ Blackburn Legacy Series E813CC valve which suppose to be a
12ax7/ecc83 direct replacement. I got the first one &amp; put it in the V1 position of my guitar amp &amp; it sounds amazing so I ordered another one. I got it
today &amp; put it in the V2 position &amp; it dropped the gain &amp; volume way down &amp; in the V3-V5 position it does not even work but works in the V1.
Any body know why? ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Seems my choices are Sovtek and Fender.  Is  the 5Y3 by Fender the same tube or made by someone else?  I have also read the Sovtek is more like a 5V4 as far as
its internal resistance.  Any one know if the voltage drop is true to the norm for a 5Y3 on the Sovtek tube?

			<description><![CDATA[ Gotta question. Got a Twin Reverb in for checkup/bias. Customer had already bought a new quartet of GT6L6CHP (black plate) aka;5881...all of this printed on
the tube..ha. I have adjusted bias and was double-checking this morn and in the dark test noticed a blue ring(top and bottom) on each of the tubes. Is this
