			<description><![CDATA[ Not sure where else to stick this, so....<br><br>Has <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>anybody</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> ever run across one of these amps before?<br>I have dug for info, and best I can find is that they were produced in Montreal primarily during the 60's and 70's (?) by one Constant Bertrand. <br>Looks to me like they were made from Fraser F106C's with modified front ends. <br>The example I own has mismatched output tubes (6GT5A's!)<br>and all the tubes are at least 20-30... ]]></description>

Described to me by Doug Sewell as:<br><br>&quot;It basically takes a 5E5-A Fender Pro preamp and marries it to a 5E5 power section (cathode biased, split-load phase inverter).  I jacked up the voltage somewhat, which gave them a different character than most tweed amps. 			<description><![CDATA[ You never know what will show up at our gigs. Our lead guitarist has a future brother-in-law that has a really nice collection of boutique amps. Last night we used his Carr EL Moto head [ no longer in production ] and a Carr Slant6V combo. Most definitely overkill for the roadhouse where we played, but in the end it's all about having fun. I heard Watson at a blues fest this afternoon, he was playing one, and also used a bunch of pedals.  His tone was awful.  High gain, buzzy, harsh and the chords were pure mush.
