Anyway when this amp is powered up it hisses loudly and very little sound passes through. I replaced the filter caps with no change. Is this a common problem

			<description><![CDATA[ I'm currently doing a warranty repair on a Devid Eden Nemesis N320 bass amp combo.  I don't normally do SS repairs but this is for a company that I do warranty repairs for and they specifically asked for me to do it.<br><br>Anyway, this 'pig' has convinced me that I don't like SS amp repairs.  It has a fault that is causing the output FETs to turn on and make a loud buzz, but because it has feedback loops on feedback loops and direct coupling between stages, it is an absolute bugger to fault... ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ Keyboard amp ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I know this a guitar amp, but I use a keyboard for some of the church stuff because I don't want to move my stack.  My amp is combo amp.  I opened it up and it basically a head and cabinet connected only by a speaker wire, a black and red one. Slowly the noise increased and after apporx. ten minutes the L5 crescendoed into a really loud hum. Eventually the amp goes out, meaning I cannot hear the guitar playing, the hum also goes away.
