Where can you find the footswitch schematic for an AD30VT? Does it just re-route the input through a switch, or is there a lot of complex BS involved? Where can you find the schematic for later model Vox equipment for that matter?

Has anybody heard about some company making a replacement PT for a SC 200 w/ dual HV secondaries like the original Partridge PT's? My brother said a friend of his heard something about it, but couldn't remember who what or where. I'd like to get mine kicking again.

New AC15-CCI-RI amplifier combo purchased.
Alnico Blue installed.
Mercury Magnetics PT/OT Irons expected very soon.
Is a Schematic for my amplifier hopefully available?
General amplifier swap info would also be helpful.
As it stands I'll be mapping the original wiring, charting in circuit and out of circuit resistance and voltage measurements of each PT/OT of replacement and original transformers..[i]Any reliable shortcuts to this plan are welcomed !!

AC30 Limited Edition - Handwired

Heard one of these last night at a club. Celestion blue dogs, reverb, tremolo and a master volume. Overall impression was positive, with a couple nits. It was plenty loud, and had nice grit and crunch when it was driven hard. Nice clean tone. Looked good.

Cons - Overall response seemed to be tilted towards the high end. Midrange was solid, and it didn't initially sound overly bright or icepick, but when playing above the 15th fret, look out. It just seemed to get louder the...

Laney AOR 50 thing?

Hello to all !
I have my hands on a Laney AOR 50 early model.
I have 4 12x7's preamp setup and Two EL34 power tubes
But here is my question....
This particular unit has an octal relay in the third power
tube socket?
Has anyone seen or have this particular set up ??
What does it do??
My relay has a LED indicator and is marked C2-A20X
It looks to wired to the power tubes and a footswitch
jack on the back panel.
It doesn"t appear to function or have any...

Vox AD60VT tube replacement

Has anybody ever tried replacing the tube in a Vox AD60VT? If so, what's the trick to getting the tube out? There just isn't enough glass sticking up through the chassis to grab onto. I tried the Vox website & the Korg website, but have not received a reply. Any suggestions?

I have a chance to grab one cheep.
It sounds like, well, just like an AC30.
The guts dont look to bad for a PCB amp, till you look at the foil side. The 3 '072 Op Amps are SURFACE MOUNT!!!

Can anyone direct me to the schematic for this amp. It is a 1986 50 watt laney AOR series. Single channel pull boost on Bass, Mid and Treble. I guess they called these the poor mans JCM 800.

I have finally managed to track down a schemo for the Carlsbro 100 Twin Channel amp but I have had it sent to me as a jpg image.
As Schematic Heaven appears to be down at present and as I don't have a site for uploading photos to, if anyone needs a copy of it I can probably e-mail it providing that I don't get inundated with requests for one, but that is very unlikely I think as not many of these 100 watters appear to be around for some reason. Here is an interesting little site that I found while looking for a schematic for a Carlsbro 100watt Twin channel amp.

There are some schematics for them and apparently they are the same or very similar to Sound City amps both having been made by Dallas-Arbiter.

I just bought a new AD30VT... I love this amp and it puts my Fender Pro Jr to shame. A few questions:

1) what if I replaced the tube with a Eurotube. Any danger?

2) can I add an effects loop easily for a graphic EQ.
? I would want it post "everything" tonal except output voltage.

3) Can I modify the line out NOT to disconnect the speaker so I can mike and go direct at the same time?
