			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Our bass player knows a guy that wants to part with a couple old Yamaha single 18&quot; sub cabinets - $300 for the pair (might accept $250).  The bass
player brought &#39;em over and we hooked them up with a couple 12&quot; 2-way cabs in the garage, and they sounded pretty good.  Might be perfect for small to
med club gigs.  They&#39;re in pretty good shape overall, but the grill cloth frames won&#39;t stay on... that&#39;s about the only real negative.

			<title><![CDATA[ Pevey XR-600....dead channel ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ My buds PV XR-600 has a dead channel. I removed the control face with the PCBs  and thought I would deffinitly find a crack at the terminals for the low Z
input.....but no I didn&#39;t. The connector buzzes good from the input side to the board terminals. I also buzzed the level pots. Seems OK there. I also made
sure that the high Z input wasn&#39;t shorted.as well. I want to swap out the low Z connector with another one for trouble shooting. I reflowed the solder on
the terms and douched... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ With the addition of a second guitarist, our band has finally got a nice front system, but now the monitors need some attention.<br><br>We've been using a couple of TOA 12&quot; PA cabs powered by a 600W mixer, and they don't sound terrible, but the problem is that we have 3 vocalists - one of which happens to be the drummer - and the TOA's just aren't providing enough coverage.<br><br>The other guitarist swears by hotspots, but I've heard others say they suck. 			<description><![CDATA[ Just scored a complete Shure LX4 system with the beta 58 mic, for Aus$70, about US$50.  Sold cheap because, quote 'the mic isn't working&quot;.  When I got it the wire from the voice coil was broken right at the solder tab. 			<description><![CDATA[ Watched a Hartke bass amp burn it's DI section .<br>How ? <br>It was plugged into a Mackie PA / amp system.<br>with a standard Mic cable<br>through an inferior house electrical system.<br><br>If they had used a ground lift DI instead.<br>that amp would still be original.<br>I had to cut the DI section off the board<br> ( chip &amp; wiring )<br>and use a ground lift DI ( drummer had ! )<br>to finish the gig<br>I think at least 110 VAC was passing between the<br>amp and PA.<br>After that all... ]]></description>

I'm having a problem with my bass that I hope someone can help me with. <br><br>It seems that whenever I play a show, I get this really annoying buzz coming through my amp. I am using an Ibanez Soundgear bass with active pickups through a Hartke 4x10 cabinet with a 200 watt head. I am running my bass through a Samson direct box that runs into the soundboard (I don't have a direct output on my amp). When I flip the ground switch, the buzz switches from my amp to the PA.
