Yeah those Budda's rock. I played the one with two types of reverb "sand" and "surf" - I think it had 2x6L6's, IIRC. The dirty channel was not all that great, but the clean channel was the shite. They used to be p-to-p hand wired amps but I hear they went PCB.

My dream amp is a Victoria Double Deluxe that comes with my favorite Weber speakers and several Tweed cabinets so I can choose which one I want at the time.
It would have a 1x12,1x15,2x10,2x12,3x10,& 4x10 cabs included. All loaded with my fav's. My dream amp would also come with an endless supply of NOS american made tubes and FREE tech support 24/7 provided by victoria. JJ |

I want a small 20- 60 watt 1 x 12" combo that will get me the tones of a Dumble, a tweed Deluxe and a Marshall Blues Breaker. Any suggestions?

...if you know something about electronics and can assemble and solder electronic parts, consider buying and "tweaking" one of Weber's amplifier
"kits"...or, have someone assemble one for you.

Dream amp? HMMM that's a tough one. It would have to be a combination of almost every amp I've ever owned (except for the Stage lead I had in the 80s) and weigh less than 50lbs. I doubt remaining true to all those sounds and making them switch able/MIDI controllable in one combo amp would even be possible. Not to mention multiple programmable (also MIDI controllable) effects loops.
Dream amp HA!!!! Never happen for me. I'd like to see JJs speaker dreams all in one cabinet. That would be a kick.

Amp-Ultralinier design with a nice clean preamp and eight KT100's on the outputs.
Speakers- 2 SVT 8X10 cabinets. Kinda like an earthquake simulator. Ninty-nine percent of failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.

Actually, my dream amp is what I'm using right now. An old 1970 50 watt bassman head through 2-1x12 closed back cabinets with jbl's in them! Why?
Because it sounds great and I can actually lift it! Tone, mojo, portability. What else can an old geezer ask for(maybe chops).
You want me to play WHERE?

Here we go right here. Of course, I'd need two of them for true-stereo!

80 years from now, someone will roll that thing into the Antiques Roadshow.
Looks more like a transmitter than an audio amp. Gotta love that shipboard-style kV meter !
So many
