I was using one & found it better than it's celestion counter part. I was using the celestion classic lead replacement speaker they make. For the price
or any price they are a excellent well made proffesional speaker. there may be some but I have not seen any bad feedback. For the price they are worth a check.

I have a 4-12 loaded with ETS-65's and Veteran 30's. I'm diggin' it! I use that cab with a Plexi clone
I also have 2 more Veteran 30's which have found their way into a Flextone 2-12 combo, and they sound very good there, way better than the stock eminince made speakers it came with. I had a pair of Celestion Vintage 30's, and I sold them |

I keep them on stock at my shop. Great sounding speakers! Beware, only 4 mounting holes on the speaker frame. If you have A Fender cab with 8 studs you are in
for some drilliing of the speaker frame or removing 4 of the speaker studs from the baffle.

"..only 4 mounting holes on the speaker frame."
Thanks for that heads up. Its a "problem" encountered with any Celestion brand replacement product as well.

I use 1/4 bolts and nuts to mount the old speaker to the new speaker and then drill thru the old speaker for the other 4 holes.

The 1/4-20 bolts keep the speaker from twisting around and you get an accurate job. Cover the new speaker with plastic film first and then cleanup will be a
snap!
